Electronic vehicle safety systems
Electronic vehicle safety systems
Modern cars are literally stuffed with electronics, and an important part of it is security systems, or electronic assistants. Most often, even experienced drivers do not know all the systems of their car, do not understand the principles of their operation, do not understand their benefits and limitations, and do not know how to use their capabilities 100%. Additional confusion is caused by the fact that the designations of the systems from different automakers are also different.
At the seminar, we explain the principles of the basic safety systems and how to properly operate vehicles equipped with them.
In the program:
- Anti-lock braking system (ABS, ABS). Purpose, principle of operation, advantages and limitations, typical mistakes and correct application by the driver
- Braking Force Distribution System (EBD)
- Stability control system (ESP)
- Traction control system (ASR, Traction control)
- Cruise control. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Emergency Braking Assist (BA, Brake Assist)
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
- Other systems – parking sensors, adaptive lighting, fatigue monitoring, descent assistance, blind spot monitoring, lane-keeping
Training result
Participants can treat road risks reasonably, use the acquired knowledge and experience in daily driving, and independently work on improving their driving safety level.
